I am a 2028 grad and am pursing soccer with the goal of playing at the highest level I can while also focusing on my academics.
I am a central midfielder who plays with a strong understanding of the game, high work rate and a team-first mentality. I am reliable and consistent in the middle of the field, and take pride in my strength and willingness to take chances. I love helping connect defense to attack and maintain possession under pressure.
My style of play is built around decision-making, my vision on the field, and confidence to make decisions quickly. I am comfortable playing as a CDM and focus on distributing the ball quickly to create opportunities for my teammates. I work hard to win the ball, stay composed and focused to support my back line and push up when the space is there. As a CAM, I look to play forward whenever possible, break lines with my passing, and support the play. I will carry the ball into space and create scoring chances with through-balls, switches, and runs into the box. Scoring feels amazing, but setting it up for a teammate is even better.
I am coachable, competitive and committed to improving myself and my team. I bring a positive attitude to training and games and will play wherever the coach and team needs me to play. I value being part of a team that pushes each other to get better to be successful. My goal is to continue to developing and competing at the highest level I can in a positive environment.
Academics have always been my main focus and I am proud to be an honour role student. I feel lucky that school has come pretty naturally to me, but I spend a lot of time studying to get the best grades that I can. I would like to pursue a career in medicine, and I am learning that although it won't be easy, I can do both school and soccer at high levels. I believe that my time management skills and willingness to work hard will take me to the next level.
I am very fortunate to be in a supportive and motivating environment. My parents and two younger siblings have taught me to be responsible as well as accountable. I feel so blessed to play with my teammates who are a great group of girls. My coaches have taught me so much and I am excited to take all that learning and do great things with it. One of my favourite training exercises are rondos because they incorporate all aspects of my game; passing, high intensity, quick movement, communication, and first touch.
When I am not on the field or at the library, you will find me camping, fishing, cooking, shopping and hanging out with my cousins and friends in the back yard or at the cottage.
I am looking forward to the recruitment process and seeing where my soccer journey will take me. I will continue to work hard, achieve my goals, and put my best effort into both school and soccer. I am also looking forward to meeting new people, working with others, and gaining new experiences. |
