About Me:
I am currently 14 years old and in Grade 9 at Medway High School in Arva, Ontario. I have been playing soccer since I was 6 years old and developed an early passion for the game. I have been a member of Whitecaps London for approximately five years and am currently in my fourth year competing in the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL).
Playing Style:
My coaches and teammates often describe me as a “thinker” on the pitch. I focus on reading the game well and reading plays before they happen and creating opportunities through intelligent through balls, and well-timed attacking runs. I aim to help advance play and generate scoring chances for my team.
I am also known as a dedicated, coachable and hardworking player, who brings a high level of intensity to both training sessions and matches. I strive to elevate the energy and performance of my teammates through my work ethic and commitment to the team with my strong leadership. I have strong endurance and stamina on the pitch and have also been described as a tenacious player.
As an attacking midfielder, I continue to develop my game as a creative playmaker with a strong focus on vision, pace, and decision-making. I am committed to continuously improving my strong technical, tactical, and physical abilities.
Education:
Academics are a top priority for me. While balancing competitive soccer, community volunteering and an active social life, I maintain a strong commitment to my studies. I am currently a straight-A student, with grades ranging from 96% and above (4.0 GPA).
I have a strong interest in pursuing a career in the medical field and hope to obtain a degree in Medical Science. My goal is to compete in soccer at a high level at the post-secondary/university level, whether in Canada, the United States, or internationally, while receiving an excellent education that supports my future career aspirations.
I also hold dual citizenship (Canadian and American), which provides additional opportunities should I pursue academics and athletics in the United States.
