My names Amare Valente Boateng. I’m born 2008 February 16 in Sault ste marie, ON. My journey began at a very young age from kicking the soccer ball in the back yard to joining house league at the age 4 years old. I quickly became in love with the game.Once I was 8 years old I joined a travelling team in my city called SUFA(Sault United Football Academy) academy. We went on many tournaments and I got several mvps and top goal scorers. Soccer quickly became the cornerstone of my life. Growing up I dedicated several hours to training and becoming a better player. Rain or shine I was out on the field perfecting my shot or dribbling with pace. A player I loved growing up was Fernando Torres. I always wanted to match his pace and perfect finishing ability on the ground or in the air. After SUFA was shut down I joined Soo United civics. That’s where I’ve been playing my past years and trying to become the best player I can until now. I got the chance to tryout for the U16 London Whitecaps in the top youth canadian league. Soccer is not just a sport to me it’s a lifestyle. I don’t train to just be better, I train to be the best. I want to go to the next level and i’ll do whatever it takes.
