My name is Yijia (Kimee) Liu, a technical, creative forward currently playing on the U17 OPDL Whitecaps London team. I am 15 years old and in grade 10 with a 4.0 GPA. I am a very technical player who is good with both feet. I have the ability to scan the field and make diagonal runs and smart, creative passes. I find gaps between and behind defenders so that I can receive the ball, and I regularly check my shoulders to scan my surroundings. In 2020, I was selected to the Ontario Soccer Provincial Projects where I advanced to the final round of cuts before it was cancelled due to Covid-19. I have also been called up countless times to play with the 2005 OPDL team for games in the past. One of my biggest goals is to obtain a scholarship to play soccer at the collegiate level in the USA and to further my education.
